DUMAGUETE, NEGROS ORIENTAL — The Provincial Government through the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases approved the request of Philippine Airlines (PAL) to operate a sweeper flight on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 from Manila to Dumaguete to Manila.
Locally Stranded Individuals (LSIs), Returning Overseas Filipinos (ROFs), and Authorized Persons Outside Residence (APORs), may take the flight provided the following requirements will be strictly complied with, to wit:
- For LSIs: Medical Certificate and Travel Authority or Travel Pass from the Philippine National Police (PNP);
- For APORs: Medical Certificate and Mission Order and has coordinated with the Provincial IATF-EID;
- The receiving LGUs shall endorse their respective LSIs and ROFs to the Provincial Tourism Unit for consolidation and said list will be submitted via email to PAL, provided, further, that only those in the official list shall be issued tickets by PAL.
Likewise, the Province’s IATF-EID will allow PAL to lift Stranded Foreign Nationals (SFNs), LSIs and OFWs from Dumaguete to Manila.
