NEGROS ORIENTAL — The Provincial Government of Negros Oriental reminded Negrenses on Tuesday, June 23, that swimming in beaches, rivers, and resorts is still NOT ALLOWED, as the province is still under general community quarantine (GCQ).
This, as Catholics celebrate the Feast of St. John the Baptist (San Juan Bautista) on Wednesday, June 24, which is usually associated with bathing and swimming in water.
The provincial government has request local authorities to monitor beaches to enforce the “no swimming policy” amid the GCQ.
