CEBU CITY — Cebu City Councilor Joel Garganera Panday released a FAQs infographic in his official facebook page to answer queries regarding the processes of Locally Stranded Individuals in the city during the Enhanced Community Quarantine implemented June 16-30, 2020.

“Now that the city is under Enhanced Community Quarantine, we have received a couple of questions regarding Locally Stranded Individuals. Below are some frequently asked questions,” he said on his facebook post.

FAQ #1: Can I still process my Travel Authority now that the city is under Enhance Community Quarantine (ECQ)?
Yes. Interzonal movement of Locally Stranded Individuals (LSIs) with complete documents from places under ECQ shall continue and remain unhampered.

This is provided under DILG Advisory issued last June 17, 2020.

FAQ #2: What are the requirements for me to get Travel Authority?
The same requirements shall be compiled.
a.) Certificate of Non-PUM/PUI from your barangay;
b.) Medical Certificate for LSI from Cebu City Health Office;
c.) Availability of Travel (e.g., time and date of travel, mode of transportation)
FAQ #3: Are inbound travels through ports still allowed in Cebu City?
No. Cebu City Ports will not be receiving any inbound passenger as of the moment. Except for the following (subject to different requirements):

a.) Locally Stranded Individuals who are residents of Cebu City;
b.) Government Officials on official business;
c.) Healthcare professionals and other frontliners; and,
d.) Persons seeking immediate medical attention.

FAQ #4: Should I contact the receiving LGU before I travel back home?
Yes. It is required that the receiving LGU (LGU of your original residence) should be aware of your travel. They will be the one to pick you up from the port of destination.

You may also be picked up by private car of your family or relatives.

FAQ #5: What are the requirements for LSIs who are residents of Cebu City?
Travel Authority issued by the Philippine National Police with supporting documents.

Your arrival must be coordinated with your barangay of residence or a private car so they will be able to pick you up from the port. You will not be allowed to disembark the ship until they are at the port.

FAQ #6: What are the requirements for Government Officials on official business?
1. Valid government-issued ID;
2. Official letter request from the immediate head of the agency; and,
3. Travel details (Port of origin and destination, time of departure and arrival, name of the shipping lines, and purpose of travel)

FAQ #7: What are the requirements for frontliners and healthcare professionals?
1. Valid government-issued ID;
2. Medical Certificate;
4. Official letter request from the immediate head of the agency; and,
4. Travel details (Port of origin and destination, time of departure and arrival, name of the shipping lines, and purpose of travel)

FAQ #8: What are the requirements for those seeking emergency medical treatment in Cebu?
1. Authority to Travel issued by the LGU Origin;
2. Medical Abstract / Certification of the patient and companion(s);
3. Official letter request from the physician-in-charge about the medical details of the patient(s); and,
4. Travel details
