DUMAGUETE CITY, NEGROS ORIENTAL — The Dumaguete City government announced Friday that it has allowed nine restaurants in the city to reopen dine-in at 30 percent of its full capacity, in compliance with the national IATF guidelines on areas under general community quarantine (GCQ).
So far, 34 establishments were inspected and monitored by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) to resume dine-in at 30% capacity. Of the 34, nine were approved.
Restaurants allowed to partially resume dine-in service are:
- Bo’s Coffee
- Casa Blanca
- Jollibee – Dumaguete Cathedral Branch
- Jollibee – Dumaguete Perdices Branch
- Cafe Filomena
- Chowking Dumaguete
- McDonald’s Dumaguete
- Gerry’s Restaurant and Bar
- Scooby’s Snack bar
Note: Restaurants in areas under GCQ (General Community Quarantine are only allowed to offer dine-in services at 30% of full capacity.
“These establishments have complied with the proper health and social distancing protocols as prescribed by the Department of Trade and Industry per Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases Resolution No. 45 series of 2020 and sanitary requirements of the City Government of Dumaguete to prevent transmission of COVID-19,” the city government said in a statement.
